Yoga Therapy for Pelvis, Hips & Spine

The pelvis is the powerhouse of the body: central to core stabilization, creativity and well-being. Due to the effects of modern living, we can lose connection with how to access the amazing capacity of the pelvis. This yoga therapy class will introduce you to the seven joints and seventy muscles that connect to the pelvis and how to access them for greater stability, mobility, and function. We will look at often unrecognized conditions that can cause problems.

 Taught by Sara Nelson who is a certified yoga therapist, Ayurvedic Svastha Acharya (wholistic health coach) and doctor of physical therapy. Sara has been a dedicated student of the body and its movement her entire life. She has studied dance, qi gong (Tai Chi Chih and Tai Chi for Arthritis), Gyrotonic (certified since 2008), yoga, functional fitness and rehabilitation. 

Please arrive early as the doors will be locked promptly at 9:00am for safety.
