Slow Flow Yoga with Alice

Slow Flow with Alice

In slow flow, we focus on slowing our movements down and really breathing into poses, allowing you to feel them deeper. Along with breath and movement connection, we will explore flexibility, work on improving balance, and create stability through strengthening poses. Not recommended for new students with injuries, but adventuresome beginners are welcome.

Alice Schlegel (CYT-200) began practicing yoga in 2004. She felt her flexibility, strength, and positive energy skyrocket as she continued exploring various styles of yoga. In April 2007, she received her 200-hour teacher’s certification from the Living Yoga Program in Austin, TX. Alice completed her 85-hour prenatal yoga teaching certification at the Seattle Holistic Center with Colette Crawford in April 2011.  She achieved her Master's Degree with a concentration in yoga at Prescott College in 2015.

Alice enjoys teaching organic, eclectic yoga classes that allows the body to open and move with grace and natural energy. She also sees yin yoga as an extension to a healthy meditation practice -- where the body can learn to sit with discomfort and find solace.

Studio is open 15 minutes before class for quiet contemplation. Please arrive early as doors will be locked promptly at 6:30pm for safety.
