This class will focus on extension of the spine. Will also include opening of the front thigh and psoas muscles, toning the upper back and opening the chest by curling the spine against the pull of gravity.
This cautious, gentle form of yoga can help you get started down a lifelong path of yoga study. During class, poses will be accommodated to the individual student, taking into consideration injury, alignment, and limitations in order to support the healing potential of the body.

Your Instructor: Vibhuti has over 20 years of experience teaching alignment based yoga. She has studied yoga asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing awareness), and Ayurveda (science of natural health) extensively in the US and India.
