Gratitude
Yin yoga is a style of yoga that includes passive poses that are held for an extended time, usually 3 to 10 minutes, allowing the deeper, less flexible tissues in your body the time to stretch. Rather than strengthening your muscles, as other forms of yoga do, yin yoga is more likely to improve your overall flexibility and range of motion.
Yin Yoga allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward, which helps alleviate stress and restore your energy levels. Yin yoga also improves flexibility, boosts circulation, and reduces tension.
Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation or thankfulness for the good things in life, whether they are big or small. It can be a response to gifts, help, or favors from others, or it can be a reflection on how lucky you are to have things like food, clean water, friends, and family.
Following the Yin Yoga practice, you will enjoy the soothing sound vibrations from 7 crystal singing bowls, providing a relaxing, reflective experience, reaffirming that you have so much to be grateful for.
Please bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water and whatever you would like to feel comfortable (eye pillow, pillows, or blanket). A bolster and blanket will be available for your use.
