Hatha Yoga: Balance

Join Bonnie for a Hatha-style yoga class with a focus on improving balance!

Hatha Yoga focuses on slower-paced movements and longer holds in individual poses, emphasizing alignment and breath control, making it more accessible to beginners.

Week 1:

Maintaining balance makes your everyday activies easier to perform and is crucial especially as we start to get older. Having good balance helps in preventing falls and injury. Maintaining balance requires coordination from your muscles, tendons, bones, eyes, ears and brain.

Week 2:

Stretching can improve your flexibility, range of motion, and mobility. 

Week 3:

Core strength is crucial to good health! Core muscles include the abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many physical activities in our daily lives.

Please arrive early as the doors will be locked promptly at 9:00 am for security.
